Professional interests

"I have over ten years of tutoring experience and seven years of teaching experience (detailed in my resumé and CV). I love working with college-aged students in particular. In addition, since receiving my MFA, I have participated in freelance writing projects while publishing my own creative work. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Rhetoric and Composition at Kent State University, where I teach Composition. From 2014-2016, I also assistant-directed the Kent State Writing Commons. My research interests include writing centers, literacy studies, peer response, feminist rhetorics, discourse analysis, creative writing pedagogy, and critical pedagogy."
